Privacy Policy

Draft — pending legal review (Baker): this page describes the data practices Miligram is designed around. Region-specific rights (for example under state privacy laws) will be finalized with outside counsel before Miligram is publicly available.

1. Information we collect

Miligram collects information necessary to operate the platform and meet legal obligations, including:

  • Account information you provide, such as name, email, and contact details.
  • Identity verification information required to open and maintain an account.
  • Transaction information, such as buys, sells, redemptions, and withdrawals.
  • Device and usage information from the marketing site and the app, such as pages visited and general analytics.

2. How we use information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and secure the Miligram platform.
  • Verify identity and comply with applicable law.
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
  • Communicate with you about your account and, where permitted, about Miligram.

3. How we share information

We share information with service providers that help operate Miligram — for example, identity verification providers, and the institutional partners referenced in our Security page ([Vaulting partner], [Insurer], [Auditor]) as needed to allocate, insure, and verify reserves. We may also share information where required by law or legal process. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Data security

We apply technical and organizational safeguards, including encryption in transit and access controls, appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold. No system is perfectly secure, and we will disclose material incidents as required by law.

5. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. Region-specific rights (for example under U.S. state privacy laws) and the process for exercising them are being finalized with outside counsel and will be published here before public launch. In the meantime, requests can be made through the Contact page.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

The Miligram marketing site may use limited cookies or similar technologies for basic analytics and to remember your preferences. It does not use these technologies to sell your information to third parties.

7. Children's privacy

Miligram is not directed to, and is not intended for use by, anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. International users

Miligram is launching in the United States first. Handling of information for users outside the United States, if and when Miligram expands, will be addressed in a future update to this policy.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated revision date once this page is finalized.

10. Contact

Questions about this policy can be sent through the Contact page.
